For those of us who consider ourselves serious writers, it’s possible to sometimes take ourselves a bit too seriously. We all strive to write intelligent analyses on the nature of life itself; it’s only normal. One of the most invaluable things about life itself, though, is that it can often be quite funny. And just as much as people appreciate intelligent, they appreciate funny. Sometimes, even the most earth-shattering dramas could use a joke or two. Just try it. Experiment with voice; it could breathe some new life into your page.
